Day 1: Bucharest – St. Andrew’s Cave – Adamclisi – Murighiol
The first stop is in one of the most revered Christian places in our country, the cradle of the Romanian Orthodoxy: St. Andrew’s Cave. Considered the ‘Bethlehem of Romanian Christianity’. We will continue with a stop at Adamclisi in order to visit 2 sights that marked the past of the Romanian people – the birth certificate of Latin Romania – the Tropaeum Traiani Monument and Fortress, built in 106-109 by the great architect Apolodor of Damascus, as a tribute to the defeat of the Dacians (year 102) by the Romans ruled by Trajan, the Roman Emperor.
Day 2: Danube Delta trip
Breakfast at the hotel. Traveling to the Danube Delta’s most beautiful arm – Sfântu Gheorghe. Then, we will start sailing on canals and lakes: Erenciuc, Puiu, Roșu, Roșulet – called the heart of the Danube Delta, and we reach the Sulina Branch.
Day 3: Murighiol-Enisala-Constanța-Bucharest
After serving breakfast, we will visit the ruins of the Halmyris fortress in Murighiol, one of the most important archaeological sites in Romania.
